"I got my two DVD's this morning and watched them back to back! I can't wait to try out the recipes my mouth was watering just watching the dvd's. I love Minh's techniques and recipes, it just goes to prove that simple can be tasty and elegant. The old saying that "if it isn't broken don't fix it" is so true, people have been eating raw forever it's nothing new. We have gotten so used to complicating our lives. It's not necessary to have a tone of equipment to eat well. Minh has much more knowledge and know how from living without electricity than any city dweller. They may have been poor growing up money wise but the way I see it what her mother taught her is priceless and has made her life rich in other ways. Money can't buy health and happiness. I have struggled with food all my life, it's a long story I won't bore you with details. I would of given anything to learn how to eat properly as a child. I have been learning so much since last August when I started eating raw. This is what I have looked for all my life and to think that it was sooooo simple. It's sad that it took this long for me to find out. This year I will turn 40 so I see it as a new beginning to start being healthy and really living! Thanks to both of you for sharing.
